The Harry Potter series is what started it all for me. Each book got better for me, with my favorite being the Deathly Hallows. With characters I loved or loved to hate, I wished this series could have gone on at least a few books longer.
The Stephanie Plum series is at 17 books (excluding side stories) and counting. I stopped at sixteen. Though I enjoyed each of the novels, after a while I wanted the characters to develop, and (for me) they just never seemed to progress.

I had never really had an interest in vampire/werewolf stories...until this series. I enjoyed the characters, and the story, and I would love to see Stephenie finish Midnight Sun.
Adult Fiction
Though I loved the story, I was not a fan of the ending. Many I have spoken with loved the ending. If you love being blindsided at the end, this is the book for you!

This was the first book I sought out on my own, without any recommendation from friends or family. Audrey did a wonderful job of weaving through time in this love story.

This was an interesting take on God and religion. I could see how people could love this book and I could see how people could hate it. I enjoyed the story, though it resembles nothing of religion as I know it. With an open mind, this story is quite intriguing.

How do you know a book is really good? When you have a list of things to do, and you sacrifice every minute possible to read instead. When you go to bed an hour later than you should because you just have to read a little farther? Then I guess these were really good books!
Mystery
I had a hard time getting into this book in the beginning. I remember having that same issue as a teen. But, once I got into it, I couldn't put it down. As I get older, it fascinates me how much things change, and yet they really don't.
The book started and ended slow, but everything in between was amazing!

As I turned page after page, I found myself not knowing where the story was going, yet unconcerned at the same time. The characters were masterfully crafted and the journey was well worth it!
